Find your comic voice and learn how to turn your ideas, stories, and point of view into a polished stand-up set. In this 6-week workshop, instructor Will Spann will guide students through generating original material, writing and structuring jokes, developing stage presence and mic technique, and editing material for stronger laughs. By the end of the workshop, students will work toward developing a polished 3–5 minute stand-up set ready for performance. Who it’s for: Beginners, aspiring comics, improvisers, actors, writers, and storytellers who want to develop stand-up material and perform it live. No stand-up experience required.
