Each month we invite a new guest monologist, who takes a suggestion from the audience and shares true stories from their life. From those stories, Hoover creates amazing scenes full of hilarious characters and outrageous situations, all made up on the spot just for you! May 2026 Guest: Becca Worthington! Becca is a storyteller at heart, whether in her day job as Children's Librarian at ImaginOn, participating in Moth-style Story Slams, chairing the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Frontline Storytellers, or acting on stage in local plays with Actors Theatre of Charlotte, Three Bone Theatre, Charlotte's Off Broadway, Davidson Community Players, Warehouse Performing Arts Center, and Theatre Charlotte, among others. She is also the founder of North Carolina's largest puppetry festival, PuppetPalooza, and can often be seen with a puppet on her hand, practicing disconcertingly intense voices.
